Service: Learning Outcome 1, Making a Present for Friend

 Recently I had a friend who had been feeling pretty down. She had been having a hard time with school, and was having problems with her family at home. I think one of my strengths in friendship is the fact that my love language is gift giving, and that's how I express love to my friends. 

    I had gone to target to pick up some stuff for groceries, and meandered through the $5 section. That's when I had the idea to create a little gift basket for my friend. I wandered around Target and picked out things I thought she would like; a mug for coffee, cute tissues for her purse, a candle, and snacks she liked. I was really happy with how it turned out, and when I have it to her at school she was super happy and I think it made her day better.

    I think this was an important thing to do because it makes me recognize how I express love, and it also helps other people.
